Hop Aboard!
It's now easier than ever to get around the sunniest place in America. Thanks to a recently added trolley service line, the Gulfport Trolley. Linking from the existing PSTA Beach Trolley route, the new Gulfport Trolley connects the southern waterfront city of St. Pete Beach with the bay front town of Gulfport.
Flamingo pink markers designate stops along the one-hour round-trip loop. Passing through the quaint Corey Avenue shopping district of St. Pete Beach, the trolley then makes its way through South Pasadena and into Gulfport.
Known for its eclectic shops, artsy atmosphere, diverse restaurants and a growing waterfront district, Gulfport is a must-see for those wanting a unique experience off the beach. And, now it's even easier to get to!
Gulfport also offers free waterfront trolley rides on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6 pm to 10 pm. This retro era trolley is a great way to visit the many shops and restaurants in downtown Gulfport, with stops identified by its easily recognizable benches. The best part? For easy convenience the trolley can be hailed from anywhere riders may choose to board.
So, for an easy and inexpensive way to get around, hop on a trolley.
