Dali Objects/Dali Fetishes

This is an intimate exhibition of four of Dali's most intriguing object-creations originally dating from the 1930s, representing his contribution to a category of surrealist work known as the "surreal object." Memories of Maas Brothers

Maas Brothers department stores, a Florida fixture for more than 100 years before closing in 1991, is celebrated with an exhibit at Florida International Museum. Little Luxuries: Antique Baby Rattles and Teethers

The tradition of teethers and rattles for babies is as old as humankind. During the Enlightenment and particularly in the nineteenth century, as the child had a more honored place in society, the variety and types of rattles increased in Europe and the United States. This exhibition contains a variety of rattles from a period of approximately three hundred years and in a range of materials, including gold, silver, tin, ivory, coral, and crystal. Robert Doisneau Exhibit
