Famous Faces: Celebrity Portraits in Photography

Famous people faced the photographer's camera not only for their family and friends, but also for history, posterity, and adoring admirers. This exhibition contains such portraits as the writer George Sand by Nadar, physicist Albert Einstein by Philippe Halsmann, poet Ezra Pound by Richard Avedon, and film star Gloria Swanson by Edward Steichen.
