American Stage Theater Camp
American Stage offers its summer theater camp for youth ages five to 17. "First Stage Camp" is held weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.(with optional early sessions starting at 8 a.m., and late sessions running until 5 p.m.) Students raise their self esteem, learn appreciation for the arts and recieve theater training while participating in engaging, fun and educational sessions. The camp is open to visitors and has two sessions that are still available. Session II runs from July 1 through July 12. Session III runs from July 15 through August 2. Gulf Coast Museum of Art: STUDIOWORKS 2002
The annual juried Studioworks> exhibition presents the work of the Museum's instructors and students. The exhibition is designed to demonstrate the strength of the Museum's teaching program. Shear Madness
The Center Theater Company presents Shear Madness, comedy murder mystery. In an apartment above the Shear Madness Unisex Hairstyling Salon, Isabel meets her untimely demise
but by whose hand? Was it the gum-chewing manicurist, the dubious antiques dealers, the high society grand dame, the flamboyant salon owner or one of the other zany suspects? It's up to the audience to decide the ending. Showtimes are Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., and Sundays at 4 p.m. Tickets are $24.50, $29 and $50 and may be purchased by calling 813-229-STAR(7827) or 800-955-1045 outside Tampa.

Forms of Cubism: Sculpture and the Avante-Garde
This exhibit will feature sculpture and related drawings by early masters of Cubism: Lipschitz, Zadkine, Picasso, Braque, Gaudier-Brezka, Brancusi, Laurens and Archipenko. Webb's City: A Community Remembers
This exhibit will revisit the circus-like atmosphere of the store that grew to be a $30 million retail complex that covered several city blocks, selling everything from groceries to men's clothes. The exhibit will explore Webb's City years of dynamic, energetic ideas and hoopla, such as talking mermaids and chickens and chimp acts, that helped draw an average of 60,000 customers a day. Historic Tours of the Fort Harrison Hotel
"Sundays at the Fort Harrison" which is a weekly open house at the Hotel, lasts from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. This open house includes an in-depth historical tour of the hotel at 2 p.m., the Images of a Lifetime photo exhibition based on the life of Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard, and Sunday Brunch and dinner at the hotel's Hibiscus restaurant. The Sunday brunch buffet costs $20, dinner entrees range from $8 - $16. Brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., dinner from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. and reservations are not necessary. Tours of the hotel are free and include a complimentary copy of our 75th Anniversary Historical Booklet.
