American Stage offers its summer theater camp for youth ages five to 17. "First Stage Camp" is held weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.(with optional early sessions starting at 8 a.m., and late sessions running until 5 p.m.) Students raise their self esteem, learn appreciation for the arts and recieve theater training while participating in engaging, fun and educational sessions. The annual juried Studioworks> exhibition presents the work of the Museum's instructors and students. The exhibition is designed to demonstrate the strength of the Museum's teaching program. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium organizes one-hour educational walks with a Marine Biologist touring the nesting beaches of Florida's Beach area. The Center Theater Company presents Shear Madness, comedy murder mystery. In an apartment above the Shear Madness Unisex Hairstyling Salon, Isabel meets her untimely demise…but by whose hand? Was it the gum-chewing manicurist, the dubious antiques dealers, the high society grand dame, the flamboyant salon owner or one of the other zany suspects? It's up to the audience to decide the ending. This exhibit will feature sculpture and related drawings by early masters of Cubism: Lipschitz, Zadkine, Picasso, Braque, Gaudier-Brezka, Brancusi, Laurens and Archipenko.
