Salvador Dali & Harpo Marx: Surrealist Shennanigans & Freudian Follies

Part of the "Curators Speak" lecture series, the Salvador Dali Museum's curator of education, Peter Tush, explores how Dali's 1937 meeting with Harpo Marx exemplifies his challenge to identity. By showing how Dali turned Freud's ideas about jokes and slips into an artform, the lecture demonstrates the role of parody and satire in Dali's works.
