Smithsonian Kids Bridge

Webb's City: A Community Remembers

This exhibit will revisit the circus-like atmosphere of the store that grew to be a $30 million retail complex that covered several city blocks, selling everything from groceries to men's clothes. The exhibit will explore Webb's City years of dynamic, energetic ideas and hoopla, such as talking mermaids and chickens and chimp acts, that helped draw an average of 60,000 customers a day. Past Perfect/Present Tense

The Florida Craftsmen Gallery kicks of the celebration of the organization's 50th anniversary with Past Perfect/Present Tense, a curated exhibition featuring winners from the historical, Statewide Florida Craftsmen Annual Exhibitions. TIME Magazine's Person of the Year at 75 Exhibit
