The wind, tides, water temperature – even the phases of the moon – can effect your fishing results, so it’s important to look at a weather report if you’re venturing out without an experienced guide. You’ll also need a fishing license (unless you go out on a licensed charter) if you’re between the ages of 16 and 65.
