Visitors can explore a window to the area’s wildest place when the Brooker Creek Preserve Environmental Education Center opens in June. Brooker Creek is an 8,500-acre wildlife preserve northeast of Clearwater. The $9 million, 17,600-square-foot center features a 3-D theater, herbarium and areas for research.
