SideWalk Sale

Every 4th Saturday of the month, Gulfport showcases the galleries and shops that make up its ArtVillage and features a sidewalk sale. Guests can visit the many wonderful shops that feature original paintings, pottery, handmade jewelry, wearable art, sculptures, hand blown glass, collectibles and much more at this village gathering. Gulfport's Art Village features shops, restaurants, cafes and nightspots on Beach Blvd. The sale runs 11 - 3p.m. For more information, call 727-321-0830.

Great Explorations Summer Camp

Pier Pals Kids Club

First Friday ArtWalk

Every 1st Friday of the month, Gulfport showcases the galleries and shops that make up its ArtVillage. Guests can browse and enjoy a festive evening featuring art, music and more in this pedestrian-friendly historic district. Social and Ballroom Dancing and Lessons

Jean Claude Rigaud: Defining Spaces

Jean-Claude Rigaud, of Haitian decent, received his BFA from the National University of Mexico in Mexico City, and undertook further studies at the Teachers College at Columbia University, and at the University of Miami. His work, in the grand tradition of encapsulating space with line and form, is held in numerous public and private collections. Working primarily in stainless steel, Rigaud’s sculptures define a new space and command the viewer’s response. For more information, call 727-518-6833.

Heavy Metals: three Centuries of Silver and Goldwork

These exceptional objects range from refined 18th century English silver by Hester Bateman to dramatic deco-era silvery by Georg Jensen. Featured is one of the Museum's masterworks: Triton's Shell bowl by John S. Hunt and Joseph Taylor, a massive parcel-gilt silver piece honoring Queen Victoria.
