The Mystique of the Motorcycle
This exhibition features almost 100 motorcycles representing 32 manufacturers from the world-class collection of Trev Deeley, a motorcycle racer, owner of Canada's first Harley-Davidson dealership and holder of the only Harley-Davidson franchise in Canada. The bikes date from the turn-of-the-century to the modern day. Headliners include the best of show from manufacturers worldwide, including Triumph, BSA, Honda, Harley Davidson, Indian and Moto Guzzi.

St. Petersburg 300/100 Anniversary Celebration Exhibit
St. Petersburg, Russia, St. Petersburg, Florida: Namesake Cities celebrates both cities' important anniversaries. St. Petersburg, Russia is commemorating the 300th anniversary of its founding by Peter the Great in 1703 and St. Petersburg, FLorida is celebrating the centennial of its incorporation as a city in 1903. The exhibit highlights the many astounding parallels and differences between the two cities and their founders through panels, exhibit cases with artifacts from both Russia and Florida and a video. Joan Miro: The Shape of Color Painted Sculpture
The exhibition covers the period from the late 1960s onward. These playful sculptures took their point of departure in found objects, which were cast in bronze and later painted bright colors. Dali and Miro, circa 1928
This exhibit is a companion to the Shape of Color that draws parallels between the two Surrealists and fellow Catalans. It features five works by Dali from the museum's collection from 1928, the year before Dali joined the Surrealist movement. Art for the People: Soviet Realism
This exhibit, in conjunction with with the 100/300 Celebration in St. Petersburg, features 22 portrait and genre paintings from many of the 13 former USSR republics during the Soviet era. The paintings show life in Soviet Russia through the eyes of the populace. For many years, the Western world did not get a glimpse inside the USSR. George Inness Exhibit
The Universalist Church in Tarpon Springs will be offering George Inness paintings tour through May 31. American Stage's Shakespeare in the Park
The American Stage, St. Petersburg's professional theater, offers a live production of a William Shakespeare work in a beautiful outdoor setting. This year's production is a hip, hot adaptation of the Bard's best known tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, the story of two passionate, inspired young people caught in a world of violence and revenge. Celebrating its 18th season, performances run Wednesday through Sunday on the waterfront at Demens Landing in downtown. Herb Davis: South of Central
This exhibit features the pastel drawings of St. Petersburg, FL artist Herbert Davis. Trained at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Mr. Davis spent many years in the commercial advertising profession. His work is held in numerous private collections, as well as the public art collection of the city of St. Petersburg. Regata Del Sol Al Sol Festival
Build and sail your own watercraft at the Great Tampa Bay Recycle Regata. Just make sure your boat is made out of at least 70 percent recycled materials. Then be prepared to race other sailors over a 50-yard course. If you and your children prefer to stay on dry land, there’s a Piñata and Sail Festival on shore to give kids the chance to paint sails that will be sent to Isla Mujeres near Cancun, Mexico. This event is just one of the many parts of the Regata & Fiesta del Sol al Sol being held at various locations throughout the area. Heart of Largo Festival
 The 7th annual Heart of Largo Festival celebrates the music, food and dance of the United States of America. Come join the festivities from 5 till 9pm on Saturday, April 26, as Largo Central Park is transformed into a map of the United States. David Williams: Old Meets New
In 2001, former St. Petersburg Times illustrator, David Williams, received a Florida Individual Artist Fellowship and spent the month of July 2002 working in a studio in Florence, Italy. There, he learned a printing process called cyanotype, which uses sunlight and hand-coated paper to produce a vivid blue an dwhite unique print. This exhibit showcases Williams' new works. Civil War Days and 20th Annual Heritage Village Skirmish
Heritage Village hosts this living history event in its 20th year as Union and Confederate troops battle. The event includes artillery demonstrations, infantry drills and the big battle.
