Florida Gulf Beaches Marathon

The open loop course for this marathon and relay begins on the Clearwater Causeway, heading south through five unique, beach communities to Indian Shores, before heading inland to Seminole and north along the Pinellas Trail, finishing downhill near Coachman Park on Clearwater's beautiful waterfront. It also includes a two-person relay with each running 13.1 miles. The 26.2 mile race begins at 7 a.m. Along with the marathon, there's a 10k race that starts at Taylor Park. The celebration also includes the Martin Luther King Jr. Festival of Bands competition, which features several renowned marching bands as they perform in a special salute to Dr. King.
