Write Your Own Fish Story

    With all the water in our area, no one should be surprised to discover that fishing is serious business around here. So it's not at all unusual for a visitor to return home with a hard-fought trophy taken from our waters.

    The calendar is dotted with fishing tournaments and events, and area anglers are no strangers to trophy and record catches. Area piers can supply you with tackle, bait, tips and - at no extra cost - local legend and lore. The dedicated fisherman is more likely to enjoy a guided charter out on the big water. Knowledgeable captains in well-equipped fishing boats will put you "on the fish" in half-day, all-day and even overnight charters.

    Of course, renting a boat and tackle and creating your own fishing adventure is always an option. The point is, the fish are definitely out there and if you want them, we encourage you to go get them.
