The St. Petersburg/Clearwater Area Convention and
Visitor's Bureau's Sports Department enjoys its relationships with
local, regional, national and international sports partners in
developing our area into the single best destination for teams,
tournaments and events.
we work with Florida 2012
representing the regional bid for the XXX Olympiad, the Tampa Bay
Sports Commission, United Soccer Leagues, Running USA, Tampa Bay
Devil Rays and other local sports groups. Regionally, we work with
the Florida Sports Foundation as it represents the state of Florida
to the world for the state's sports interests. We also collaborate
with other sports commissions and organizations on regional events
and in the interest of making the state of Florida the number one
sports destination for the world.
we are members of the
National Association of Sports Commissions, National Fastpitch
Coaches Association and the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse
Association. We also support the United States Olympic Committee
and all the National Governing Bodies (NGB's), all collegiate
governing associations and all professional sports
organizations.
we support the
efforts of the International Olympic Committee, Federation
Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and all sports
organizations and teams that compete on the international playing
field.
