St. Petersburg is your destination. Start with a visit to Sunken Gardens on Fourth St. No., a botanical paradise that includes a wonderful butterfly garden.
For lunch, head to the downtown area and stroll along Beach Drive where you can do some last-minute shopping at the many fine boutiques. Right on Beach Drive, youll find the Museum of Fine Arts, with excellent shows and a beautiful garden thats an ideal spot to sit and enjoy a cup of afternoon coffee. Then go over to the Pier where the attractions include the Great Explorations Hands-On Museum, shops and restaurants.
Downtown is where you want to be in the evening, as well. BayWalk, the citys new entertainment complex, includes trendy shops, a 20-screen movie theater, plus fabulous restaurants and lively night spots. Its the perfect place to end your stay. |
