Another of Florida’s Beach hometown communities, Palm Harbor has a charming small town atmosphere in a suburban setting, and is within close proximity to Clearwater, St. Petersburg and the Tampa Bay area.
Golfing is within minutes of your accommodation. The visitor can choose from one of Palm Harbor’s resorts, parks, or nearby beaches. Take a walk on Florida Avenue in historic downtown Palm Harbor where many of the early buildings are preserved and are open to welcome the visitor; and shops, galleries and restaurants are located in the downtown area as well.
For fitness and outdoor enthusiasts, the Pinellas Trail extends the length of Pinellas County, winding through Palm Harbor. Bicyclists, walkers and skaters of all ages enjoy the trail. Located on the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Tarpon, saltwater and freshwater fishing are convenient to both the avid and novice fisherman.
