Welcome to the Florida’s Beach community that many visitors call their permanent home away from home. Madeira Beach bills itself as “an island two miles long and a SMILE wide.” One only has to visit Hubbard’s Marina and take a walk along the 1100-foot waterfront boardwalk on the Intracoastal Waterway to see dolphins, pelicans, bald eagles and even an occasional manatee in their environment. Cross the road; and enjoy the sun and white sandy beaches and emerald-turquoise waters that invite participation in swimming, sunning, diving. Be a beachcomber for the day, or take up a new activity - jet skiing! Known as the Grouper Capital of the World, Madeira Beach is host to the annual Grouper Fest, held the last weekend in October. Enjoy the fresh grouper; while arts, crafts, and entertainment round out this popular event.
