The 2007 dates for this event have not been identified. Please check back for the dates. Heart of Largo will take you back to the good ole? days of the Sunday afternoon family picnic. Join us for the pie eating contest, volleyball, horseshoes, free train rides, coloring contest and live entertainment. There will be great demonstrations of basket weaving, quilting and more. We?ll have good food and fun for the entire family! Off site parking is available with free shuttle rides to the park. Youth are also encouraged to participate in the Heart of Largo coloring contest! Winners will be announced at the Heart of Largo Country Picnic on April 2nd at 3 p.m. Live entertainment begins at 1 p.m. This event is free to the public. We have not received the official dates for this event, but it is usually held in December. Thousands of people walk, run and jog along St. Petersburg?s waterfront during an evening filled with glowing luminaries and the sounds of sleigh bells in the air. The course starts and finishes at The Pier with festive music on the first floor rear patio. There is a registration fee of $15 for adults and $10 for children under 12.
