Ironman's newest event property, the Ironman 70.3 Series, culminates with its world championship in Clearwater, FL. More than 1,800 domestic and international competitors will earn the right to compete in the Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3 by qualifying at one of the 22 Ironman 70.3 events held around the world. Ironman 70.3 events consist of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run. The race will start and finish at Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach. For more information, visit website.

"It's a Dixie and Swing Thing!" Traditional jazz and swing will once again fill the air at the 19th annual Suncoast Dixieland Jazz Classic. This event is the largest traditional festival in the state and one of the largest on the east coast. The Sheraton Sand Key Resort & Marriott Suites on Sand Key the Holiday Inn on Clearwater Beach will host a crowd of about 5,000 over three days.
