Sand Dune Motel is one of the smaller motels in Treasure Island...small enough that you do not have to compete for a parking space. We are the new owners, Suzee and Ray Ryel. We recently remodeled (in 1999) all the rooms and won the "Beautification Award" from the City of Treasure Island. We are located at the north end of Treasure Island; directly south of the Johns Pass Bridge on the Gulf of Mexico side. We are not directly on the water but we are only 50 yards from the beach. Treasure Island is just 5 miles north of St Pete Beach and 10 miles south of Clearwater Beach. The TAMPA AIRPORT is 45 minutes away and ORLANDO (Disney, Universal Studios and more) are just 90 miles away.
