The St. Petersburg/Clearwater Area Floridas Beach did not experience any storm conditions from Tropical Depression Ernesto.
The St. Petersburg/Clearwater area is located in the Central section of Florida directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the west coast. The area is 90 miles southwest of Walt Disney World and directly west of Tampa. It is north of the Sarasota/Bradenton area and south of New Port Richey and Pasco County.
CURRENT STORM INFORMATION:
Tropical Depression Ernesto had essentially no impact on the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area. The area received a small amount of rain but NO tropical storm conditions. Currently all accommodations, attractions, beaches and restaurants in the area are open. If you are planning to visit our area in the future, please tour our website for information on the area. Those who currently have plans to visit the area in the next few days should monitor media outlets and this site for updates. We recommend that you contact your individual accommodation and travel agent or tour operator if you have specific questions.
